Samsung One UI 8 Beta and Stable Release: Eligible Devices

Samsung is moving quickly with its software updates. Just a few months after releasing One UI 7 in April 2025, the company is already preparing the stable release of One UI 8, built on Android 16. The rollout will begin in September 2025, starting with flagship devices before expanding to more models.

The beta program first started in May 2025 with the Galaxy S25 series. By July 2025, One UI 8 came pre-installed on the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. Now, Samsung is expanding the beta to a wider range of devices.

Where the Beta Is Available

The One UI 8 beta is available only in select regions: South Korea, the US, the UK, and India. Users can register through the Samsung Members app.
