NVIDIA G-Assist Now Runs on 6GB RTX GPUs
Big Change for Gamers. NVIDIA has officially lowered the entry point for its AI-powered Project G-Assist. Previously limited to GPUs with 12GB VRAM or more, the tool can now run on RTX graphics cards with just 6GB VRAM, including many laptops.
This breakthrough comes thanks to a new AI model that uses 40% less memory, making it possible to run G-Assist on lower-spec hardware.
Release and Access
The update was announced at Gamescom 2025 and is available starting August 19, 2025. To use it, you’ll need:
